Thanks James! Looks like an interesting place. I look forward to checking it out!
Hey James we are so sorry to hear about your fellow investigator Brittany...You guys are in our thoughts and prays....If you guys need anything from us just let us know...MPCS
Things went very well for us at the Villisca House. We were getting everything from being touched, the cobweb feeling on the face, one of our investigators got shoved. While doing a live recording with the PX we were getting direct responses and answers to our questions. Caught a black shadow figure in the doorway of the frontroom using a digital camera. The flash was off cause it was still daylight outside and we were attempting to get a picture of the plaques on the wall. It was a pretty active night for us, I know that we are planning on going back Im just not sure when. It is a pretty active place, I think that you and your group wouldnt be let down.
Thanks a bunch for the warm welcoming. I look forward to learning and hearing about other peoples experiences and getting to know you guys too. My experiences were more poltergeist/residual. My parents still live in the same house to this day and they still continue to experience things. We have performed a couple investigations in the house and have caught some interesting things.
I haven't been yet but would like to go this fall. I'm hoping to be able to conduct a full investigation of the cave, burial sites, etc...
I have indeed! I went on the way back from my family reunion in Tennessee. My dad had been 30 years ago with his parents, and had some intresting experiences with his camera malfunctioning, so I begged him to take me! I slipped 4 fist-size stones from inside the cave into my purse. One I gave to my dad, and the other three I kept, because I collect rocks from all over the world. One week after getting the stones home, my home was INVADED with black flies! I'm not talking a few, I'm talking EPIC proportions! I must have killed hundreds. I had heard that the cave rocks brought bad luck, but I didn't expect that! My grandad had taken one 30 years ago to put in his garden. Everywhere he moved the rock, everything around it would die! He wanted to get rid of the stone so he brought it to Hopkinsville, KY and threw it off a bridge into the river. On the way down, there was a boat that flipped over with a fisherman in it right where the rock landed (it didn't hit the boat). Well, with my rocks, I heard voices, had footsteps in my attic, things flying off the counter across the room, and the fly problem...until I got fed up and threw them outside. The fly problem went away as mysteriously as it appeared. Has anyone else noticed strange smells in the cave? I swear I smelled whiskey.
Thanks so much! I was excitd to find this site. I'm looking forward to talking to other members and sharing experiences especially about the Bell Witch Cave and EVP's.
